Lots of little people

They want us to have some exposure to elementary... yes, elementary!  You know, those schools that have recess, as well as little people running around.  They're so cute but so scary at the same time.

Black Walnut P.S. was where I was placed (my Godson goes to Kindergarten here!).  Brand new school.  Cool teacher.  Not sure I get the whole Inquiry Based Learning approach, but I'm sure I will by the time my 4 weeks is up here.

My homeroom class is a grade 7 class, and my mentor teacher teaches Art to a split 7/8 class and a grade 6 class, as well as Geography to the same split 7/8 class.  I'm getting exposure to 3 grade levels and many different subjects!  This will be an interesting experience.
